PRÄGOTHERM
- It is a thermoplastic counter die material in the form of a foil. In the course of a short-term contact with the metal embossing die (Schnittgravur) heated in the machine to a temperature of 130 C, the foil is welded to the PERTINAX base plate and shaped to form a counter die according to the metal embossing die.
- It is available in two different thicknesses:
PRÄGOTHERM-S15: 0,15 mm
0.15 mm suitable for structured metal embossing dies
PRÄGOTHERM-R25: 0,25 mm
0.25 mm suitable for multiple-stage metal embossing dies, i. e. where different depths are required
- It also allows the creation of counter dies deeper than 0.25 mm without any problems.
Several PRÄGOTHERM foils are superimposed. In the course of their contact with the heated metal die the foils are welded together and to the PERTINAX base plate. It is thus ensured that the entire depth of the metal embossing die will be completely filled out.
